APR/11/08 - Students from a dozen area schools and universities demonstrated in Boston Common for Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) reform. CORI laws make it difficult for people with records to get jobs, housing, credit and student loans. The students and passers-by signed a giant 11 foot letter to the chairmen of the Massachusetts Joint Committee for the Judiciary demanding justice and an end to discriminatory practices because of CORI.
